SLNIPC has four divisions

A- Psychological Counselling
B- Career Counselling
C- Educational Counselling
D- Family Counselling

SLNIPC conducts counselling training courses ,workshops ,seminars, awareness programmes and consultancy services for Government Departments , Ministries, Universities, Industries ,Banks, NGO’s and Social Organizations

Members who engage in Counselling practice are eligible to apply for part III , IV and V Professional Examinations. Those who complete part V are eligible to register as consultants and Fellows.

SLNIPC undertake National and International research projects.

SLNIPC registers professional Counsellors and conducts brush up training programmes to enhance their professional knowledge and skills.
